Sample Leaving Ode

a gathering of friendsWell, now you’ve gone and done it
We never thought you would
You dug your own escape tunnel
And emerged out of the wood

How will we cope without you?
Who will answer all our pleas?
Who will fix our broken printers?
And get down on their knees

Course we have had our problems with you
celebrating with a glass of champagneLike losing Syd the spade
And losing the back of the trailer
Some memories never fade

Some say that you resemble a film star
Some say a singer of blues
We’ve all had a chat about it
And yes, you’re right, Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise, it is, there is a likeness
Though ‘tis told he mixes with villains and hoods
Although some say he’s been seen just lately
In parts of Waterworks Woods

Much, much love from us all.

We will really miss you
