Our little dog has left us
The place is not the same
We miss him all around the house
Sometimes we call his name

He wasn’t just a little dog
He was our dearest friend
He’d sit by our side all through the day
And protect us to the end

We spoiled him rotten all the time
He knew everything we said
He just shared everything with us
Our lives, our home, our bed.

If doggies go to heaven
Well, that would be just great
Cos when we eventually get there
He’ll be waiting at the gate!!
